Meet The Team

Since becoming a teacher 21 years ago, I have always been passionate about supporting others. For the past 19 years, I have successfully mentored ITT trainees and NQT’s within school.

• Area of Expertise: Specialist Leader of Education in ITT and NQT. Tutor for ITT trainees at the University of Hull.

Since becoming a teacher 21 years ago, I have always been passionate about supporting others. For the past 19 years, I have successfully mentored ITT trainees and NQT’s within school. I have also coached other staff members through their middle and senior leader courses.
In 2013, I became a Specialist Leader of Education in ITT and NQT and have delivered training to NQT Tutors for the Local Authority. I have also completed the NCSL Facilitator course.

I currently teach in EYFS and have previously taught across the whole primary age range. I lead Teaching and Learning across my school and have previously led maths, assessment and IT.

I have worked for the University of Hull for the past 7 years, where I am a Personal Supervisor for a group of PGCE trainees and a Placement Tutor for ITT students. In 2018, I achieved the status of Associate Fellow of the Higher Education Academy in recognition of attainment against the UK Professional Standards Framework for teaching and learning support in higher education (AFHEA).
